Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Philosophy average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Three-Year General Philosophy academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Philosophy Plan-level requirements:
- at least five academic course units (ten courses) in Philosophy with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
- PHIL 221
- St. Jerome's students may take PHIL 218J instead of PHIL 221
- one of PHIL 145, 216, 240, 341, 342, 416, 441
- St. Jerome's students may take 200J instead of the above
- two of PHIL 250A, 250B, 380, 382, 384, 386, 403, 404, 405, 407, 408
Note:
PHIL 145, 200J, 216, 218J, 221, 240, 250A, and 250B are offered regularly. The other courses listed above also satisfy plan requirements, but are only offered from time to time. For details on current course offerings, visit the Philosophy website.
