Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a minimum cumulative Social Development Studies average of 75%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Honours Social Development Studies academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Social Development Studies Plan-level requirements:
- at least ten academic course units (20 courses) must be in Social Development Studies with a minimum cumulative average of 75%, including:
- SDS 131R, 150R, 250R, 251R
- PSYCH 121R, 220R
- SOC 120R
- SOCWK 120R
- 12 courses at the 200-level or above, including at least one course from each of the four subject areas listed below. At least three courses must be at the 400-level:
- Social Development Studies: SDS 205R, 215R, 220R, 231R, 240R, 311R, 312R, 331R, 350R, 351R, 353R, 354R, 355R, 370R, 375R, 398R, 399R, 400R, 415R, 420R, 425R, 440R, 450R, 490R, 495R, 496R, 499A/B
- Psychology: PSYCH 212R, 213R, 222R, 226R, 312R, 322R, 323R, 334, 354R, 375R, 398R, 399R, 450R, 490R
- Social Work: SOCWK 220R, 221R, 222R, 240R, 300R, 301R, 320R, 321R, 322R, 326R, 355R, 356R, 357R, 365R, 367R, 375R, 390A/B, 398R, 399R, 421R, 450R, 490R
- Sociology: SOC 204, 207, 223, 224R, 375R, 398R, 399R, 450R, 490R
