Continuance in Honours Co-operative Geochemistry requires a cumulative overall average of at least 60% and an average of at least 60% in all Chemistry and Earth Science courses each term.

In order to graduate with an Honours Geochemistry degree, the following requirements must be completed successfully:
- 19.0 lecture units, 3.25 laboratory units and a research project and thesis (1.0 unit).
- Mandatory courses as listed below.
- Three Chemistry and three Earth Sciences technical electives chosen from CHEM 313, 350, 420, 450; EARTH 305, 361, 421, 456, 458, 459. Substitutions may be made with the approval of the Undergraduate Advisors.
- Seven freely chosen courses (3.5 units). Especially recommended are BIOL 140, 241; ENGL 210E; ENVS 195, 201; GEOG 201, 303; MATH 106 or 114, 217, 227.
- A minimum of four work terms and submission of a minimum of four satisfactory work reports.
- Normally, full-time enrolment in at least one of Years Two and Three.
- Normally, full-time enrolment in Year Four.
- No more than 3.0 "SCI-labelled" units will be allowed toward this Academic Plan.
- Completion of the English Language Proficiency Examination (ELPE).
