Students taking this program may be able to fulfill the academic requirements for professional membership in the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO) - the organization that licenses university graduates to practise Geosciences in Ontario.  Careful consideration to the use of electives would be required to procure the necessary knowledge base for APGO membership.  Interested students should visit the APGO website:
