Co-op students are required to complete a minimum of four Professional Development (PD) courses which will be provided as on-line modules. The minimum number of PD courses includes an introductory course (PD-1) that is taken prior to the first work term (PD-1 replaces the previous requirement of COOP 101). These PD courses are each worth 0.5 units and may not be substituted for academic credit. The PD courses are meant to enhance the students’ non-technical work environment-related skills. Other than the initial course, these courses are normally taken during Co-op work terms.
