This Diploma is designed for any non-native speaker admitted to the University of Waterloo. Students are expected to acquire a basic introductory understanding of, but not fluency in, Japanese Language.
Requirements
The satisfactory completion of three academic course units (six courses) from those designated as JAPAN with a minimum cumulative average of 65%. No more than two 100-level courses can be counted toward the Diploma.
