Students wishing to follow this Academic Plan in the Co-operative system of study should first speak to Professor Witt and the Department of Co-operative Education and Career Services.
Continuance in the Honours Environmental Sciences/Ecology plan requires a cumulative average of 60% in both Science and non-Science courses. This plan has a biological focus with emphasis on the fundamental science needed to understand ecological problems. In order to graduate from the plan the following requirements must be met:
- Successful completion of 20.0 lecture units plus any co-requisite lab units. At least 12.25 units must be Faculty of Science units. At least 6.5 of the 12.25 must be at or above the 200-level. At least 4.0 of the 6.5 other than any "SCI"-labelled units must be at the 300- or 400-level.
- No more than 5.0 failed units are allowed.
- No more than 2.0 "SCI"-labelled units may be applied to the degree.
