Three-Year General Anthropology
Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Anthropology average of 65%.

Four-Year General Anthropology

Honours Anthropology

Joint Honours Anthropology
A Joint Honours academic plan with Anthropology may be taken in combination with most Arts disciplines in which an Honours academic plan is offered or with many Honours majors in other Faculties. See the department for the most recent list of approved combinations.

Eligibility for graduation in the Joint Honours Anthropology academic plan includes successful fulfilment of the following requirements:

- at least seven academic course units (14 courses) in Anthropology with a minimum cumulative average of 75%, including:
- Plan-level requirements for the second Major.
Note
Students enrolled in a joint honours plan in Anthropology and either Geography or Environmental and Resource Studies will complete Faculty of Arts requirements if they seek a BA degree and Faculty of Environmental Studies requirements if they seek a BES degree.
Honours Anthropology (Co-op)
Co-op Anthropology students will pursue a normal first-year Arts academic plan, taking ANTH 101 and 102. In the second year and thereafter the student is required to pursue a normal Honours academic plan (see above). It is strongly advised that ANTH 300 be taken in the third year.
Students are admitted to the academic plan in their 2A term. Their first work term follows 2B. Work terms and study terms alternate after that. A student must complete four successful work terms.
Honours Anthropology (Arts and Business Co-op and Regular)
Students may combine an Honours Anthropology academic plan with Arts and Business. The requirements in Anthropology are identical to the Honours requirements listed above. See Arts and Business for the Arts and Business requirements.
Anthropology Minor
An Honours student or Four-Year General major student may minor in Anthropology. The Anthropology Minor requires successful completion of a minimum of five academic course units (ten courses) in Anthropology with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
