Description: 
The course will provide an introduction to Precambrian geology with a particular focus on Canadian Geology. Linking sedimentation, tectonics, petrology, geophysics and geochemistry and geochronology to an evolving earth. Differences and similarities between Precambrian and Phanerozoic earth will be discussed using evidence from the rock record and the results of numerical modelling.
