• Minimum requirements 
  • A four-year Bachelor's degree, in any discipline, with a minimum overall average 75%. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may be considered for admission on an exceptional basis, provided they demonstrate equivalent qualifications.
  • All application package uploads must include a Supplementary Information Form. Students should comment on their reasons for applying to the program, their academic record, their employment record, any special interest in the area of theological education, their personal interests, activities and goals.
  • The Graduate Admissions Committee will normally consider the applications only after reviewing all the required documents. Application material submitted in support of the application will not be returned.

• Students must complete 5 core courses and 2 elective courses.

• Students in the program may also choose electives from appropriate graduate‐level theology courses offered at another university or university college, such as Conrad Grebel University College. The maximum number of courses that can be taken from another university is 2.

Master’s Research Paper

• Students are expected to complete a Master's Research Paper (CT 606A/B Catholic Thought Research Paper), 35-50 pages [8750-12,500 words] and participate in an on-campus Integrative Seminar. The nature of the research project will be determined in consultation with the Director of the program.
• The paper will be evaluated by two faculty members: the supervisor and one other faculty member who teaches in the core of the program.
• The research paper will be the basis of a seminar presentation to peers and faculty.
• Students must obtain a minimum grade of 75% for the paper.
