Currently, the research conducted by the faculty members of the Department of Pure Mathematics are in the following areas:
- Algebra and Logic
- Analysis and Functional Equations
- Geometry and Topology
- Number Theory
There is a wide diversity of specialized topics studied in each area. Individual Faculty members' specific areas of interest and publications can be found on the Department of Pure Mathematics website.
Research seminars are regularly scheduled in all of the above core areas, at which recent results are presented and discussed. Graduate students are expected to present and participate in seminars as part of their training.
