Research Facilities

Research within the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences provides an outstanding environment to integrate opportunities between teaching, research and community outreach programs. The Faculty supports laboratory research into basic biological mechanisms and the function of the human being in a variety of contexts and environment.

Research Centres

CAHR was established as the umbrella organization for specialty initiatives within the general health domain and encompasses research and education related to the following initiatives:

• Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program (MAREP)
• Population Health Research Group (PHR)
• Functional Abilities Program for Seniors
• Centre for Behavioural Research and Program Evaluation Program
• Training/Consultation Centre (Ontario Tobacco Strategy)
