The Faculty of Environment maintains a Research Office, which aids in enhancing the quality and quantity of scholarly research activities. In cooperation with the University of Waterloo Grants Information Office, Office of Development and the Graduate Studies Office, this office assists graduate student and faculty researchers to identify research priorities and funding opportunities in the private and public sectors. It also assists in preparing and evaluating scholarship, grant, or contract applications for research. To facilitate the research proposal process, researchers are strongly urged to contact this office prior to applying to funding agencies.
