The Department of Biology offers graduate training at both the Master's (MSc) and Doctorate (PhD) levels. The MSc degree is available as both a regular and co-op program. Joint studies in Biology and other departments, including those in other faculties, can also be arranged. Both the MSc and PhD degrees are thesis degrees, involving course work and a thesis based on original research.
