Students interested in Doctoral or Master's study involving more than one discipline may undertake such a program provided the University offers the degree sought in all of the departments involved. Students interested in such programs can apply to the departments concerned or to the Dean of Graduate Studies. The Dean will refer applications to the appropriate Faculty or Faculties for their consideration.
When a program of study acceptable to the departments and Faculties concerned has been devised, the student may be admitted to a program. A Memorandum of Understanding - Interdisciplinary/Joint Programs form must be completed. Upon the successful completion of this program, a degree in the joint disciplines is awarded.
