Master's Degree in Design and Manufacturing |
|
In addition to the regular Master's program, the Department also offers a joint, cost-recovery Master of Engineering program in Design and Manufacturing. The program involves the UW Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Management Sciences, as well as the engineering and business schools at the University of Toronto, the University of Western Ontario, Queen's University and McMaster University. It also draws on Materials and Manufacturing Ontario, a research "centre of excellence" in which the University of Waterloo is a partner. Collectively the groups form a virtual institute known as the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Institute (ADMI). The ADMI Masters Degree Program is a part-time, modular program specifically designed for practising engineers working in Canadian Industry. Full details of this program are available on the department's website or at the ADMI website.
