The Master of Engineering ADMI-Design and Manufacturing program is presented in a focused, time-compressed modular format designed for practicing engineers working in Canadian Industry. Each course is presented as a set of two 4-consecutive day modules; each module involves approximately 30 hours of lectures, discussions and applications. The schedule is designed so that each course module is separated by a 4-6 week interval to facilitate the learning process and to allow for selected projects and assignments to be accomplished. Course modules run Thursday through Sunday.

Admission Requirements
Admission requirements for students admitted to the Masters program are as follows:
- an honours Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an acceptable discipline from a university of recognized standing, with at least a B (75%) standing,
- three letters of reference, from professors and/or employers,(minimum two academic)
- proof of competency in English (if applicable). A score of at least 550 is required in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), along with a minimum score of 4.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE). A score of at least 213 is required on the computer version of the TOEFL. (See Academic Regulations - English Language Proficiency Certification for other acceptable tests of English).
Degree Requirements
To fulfill MEng degree requirements for the Design and Manufacturing (ADMI) program, a student must complete a total of 10 courses with a minimum of five courses from the Technologies Processes course stream and a minimum of 2 courses from the Business Management course stream.
The student also has the option of submitting a proposal to replace 2 courses with an industry project. Students choosing this option would then complete 8 courses plus the Industry Project which would replace 2 courses from either the Technologies Processes course stream or the Business Management course stream, depending on the nature of the subject matter of the project.
