Introduction |
Accelerated Master's Program |
|
Undergraduate students, who have consistently achieved excellent grades, at the end of their 3A term may be admitted to an Accelerated Master's program. The general Faculty of Engineering principles and structure of this program are described in the Faculty of Engineering section of this calendar. In Civil and Environmental Engineering, students must either take extra courses during their undergraduate 4A or 4B academic terms, or, if their supervisor agrees, take courses during their "special" work terms for credit towards the MASc. It is not permitted to replace one of the undergraduate technical electives in the 4A and 4B terms with courses for credit towards the MASc. Those students interested in this program are urged to discuss possible programs with the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies early in their 3B term.
