Transfer of Academic Credits |
|
A student may obtain credit for courses taken while in other academic programs. However this transfer of academic credit is subject to University of Waterloo regulations listed in the graduate calendar (See Graduate Studies Calendar: Academic Regulations - Transfer of Academic Credits) and on approval of the Departmental Graduate Committee and the Faculty Associate Dean. Normally, a mark of 80% will be required on the transfer course. One credit can be obtained by transferring a graduate course or two undergraduate courses. Credit for more than two such term courses may be granted in special circumstances upon petition to the Faculty Graduate Committee. In all cases, the relevance of the courses to the candidate's proposed program must be established.
